BANGKOK, November 22, 2018 – Chatchai Luanpholcharoenchai, Dow Thailand President, along with 12 business partners and leading financial institutions made a contribution to the Thai Red Cross Society (TRC) represented by Lieutenant General Dr. Amnaj Bali, Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau, with a donation raised through a Southeast Asia Charity Golf Challenge 2018. Dow Thailand also provided a financial support to 10 vocational colleges nationwide for water filtration maintenance from 2018-2022. In total, Dow and partners granted 6,355,000 baht to the TRC. In addition, the project handed over water filtration machines to 5 schools in Nakhon Pathom which was the last province in the first phase. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between related parties was arranged to ensure of good quality of drinking water at schools. The TRC-Dow Clean Drinking Water for Schools Project aims to grant sustainable access to clean drinking water, reduce illness caused by unclean drinking water, and further enhance learning potential for Thai children.
